Ian Somerhalder & Nikki Reed Are Apparently Engaged

It was only a matter of time before Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed put a ring on it. The couple were spotted earlier this month romping around the City of Angels, bopping in and out of jewelry stores. "Exclusive eyewitnesses" recalled the pair looking at engagement rings.  Now, an exclusive source claims the two are officially engaged. Sorry, hopeful singles and wide-eyed dreamers.  The two made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the Golden Globes Awards on Sunday. She was rocking a rock-filled band, though said band was slipped on her right ring finger as opposed to the left one. Reed recently attended another function, however, and wore the same band on the same finger. Maybe that's just how all the cool kids are doing it these days.
