Taylor Swift Already Has Her Festival-Season Style Figured Out

Taylor Swift does not follow rules. She enthusiastically does her own thing, both professionally and personally. According to her latest look, the same can be said for her style, too. 

Ignoring all conventions of winter dressing, Swift was spotted leaving a dance studio in West Hollywood dressed as if it was the middle of July. To her credit, it basically feels that way in Southern California right now, but the little white frock and bare legs boldly protested antiquated fashion decrees. 

Her eyelet Free People sundress, which had a sweet daisy-chain cut-out detail around the waist, would not look out of place at a music festival. Hey, might as well start planning your Coachella (fashion) lineup early. She topped it with an oversized, asymmetrical-hem cardigan by the same brand. The Prada shoes — peep-toe sandals with a mirrored block heel — elevated the look, figuratively and literally speaking. It’s an unconventional outfit for January, which makes it perfect for Taylor.
