Amal Clooney’s Travel Style Is Crazy Elegant

Amal Clooney is so bafflingly poised that it’s quite possible she’s secretly a royal. By Hollywood standards, she basically is. The tabloids haven’t taken to calling her First Lady Amal because of her famous husband; she's an accomplished, badass British lawyer who manages to do everything with grace — even declining a spin down E!’s mani-cam runway. That same inherent (and, if we’re being honest, enviable) elegance even extends to her ability to lug a suitcase around the airport. 

Yesterday, Clooney was photographed at LAX wearing an oxblood wool Versace coat from the Fall 2014 ready-to-wear collection; it made her look like a silver-screen star straight out of the ‘60s. Despite the fact that she had two big bags in tow, Amal looked as polished at the airport as she did on the Golden Globes red carpet. Her suede Prada boots and skinny black pants — both subtly stylish and decidedly classic — let her bright jacket shine in the spotlight, while her bold, red lips and glossy blowout added a little extra glamour.

Amal was probably en route to saving the universe, but you can snag the outfit even if you’re just grabbing drinks with your friends.
