No matter how you might feel about this morning's Academy Award announcements, you still want to win your Oscar pool, right? Trust us, we have a lot of thoughts on the nominees, but there's nothing sweeter than besting your equally drunk friends on Oscar night with your magical prediction skills.
Plus, there were definitely some worthy nominees, like Citizenfour and Ida — and even the decidedly testosterone-tastic Whiplash. Don't you want to watch Miles Teller play the drums, bleed, and cry while J.K. Simmons throws cymbals at his head? You do! You might not want to watch The Judge or American Sniper, but think of the bragging rights if you win that Oscar pool. Plus, you can watch Boyhood star Ellar Coltrane grow a sweet dirt 'stache right before your very eyes.
Get on top of all those nominees that you missed in theaters and watch them from the convenience of your couch right this minute. Some of these movies are still in theaters and you just might want to throw some cash behind 'em. We're thinking specifically of Selma, but hey, that's just our professional opinion.
