The Sunglasses Soon To Be Seen On Every It Girl

When you run off your don't-leave-home-without checklist in the summer, sunglasses are at the top of the list. In the winter? Not so much. Even though the sun still shines (just not as brightly) there's something about pairing shades with an Abominable Snowman-like puffer and a cover-your-face scarf that just feels off. But, they're actually essential to avoid blindness when those rays reflect against the snow. Convinced? Well, if you need an extra reason to add in sunnies to your rotation right now, just turn to Adam Selman. The celeb-favorite designer (Rihanna and Queen Bey are obsessed, FYI) just launched a collaboration with Le Specs that you'll undoubtedly want to wear, stat.
When first thinking about the collection, Selman referenced movies he loved that had strong, memorable eyewear moments. "For me, it was Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger and Sue Lyon in Lolita," he says. "I wanted to blend the two to come up with something unique, modern, and striking." That's exactly what he did with the line of highly-angular cat-eye silhouettes with '70s-esque glitter accents and '80s flat-mask details. Click through to check out (and shop) the entire offering, shot in a way that emphasizes both brand's cheeky and quirky nature. And, trust that you'll never want to leave home without these.
