Taylor Swift Brings Her NYC Uniform To L.A.

Those first few days after a tropical vacation can be rough, especially when it means going from sandy beaches to snowy streets. But, Swift is getting back to the grind after what may go down in history as the most FOMO-inducing girls' trip to Hawaii ever. Well, sort of: Instead of heading straight home to New York, Taylor took another warm(ish) detour. The singer hopped off the plane at LAX, no doubt extending her stay in above-freezing temperatures through the Grammys this weekend. However, Swift is well aware that her return to winter weather is imminent — just look at her wardrobe.

On her way to a workout session, Taylor donned a long-sleeved T-shirt with a corduroy skirt. While her hem may be California-short, its material is better suited for colder climes. And, although Swift gets to don her skirts without tights for now, she'll be dodging slush puddles soon enough, along with the rest of us New Yorkers. Still, we'll take her temporary look as a serious source of transitional-dressing inspiration, which will come in handy in six weeks when we (finally!) see the first hints of spring.
