Gossip Girl Cast Reunites, Sparks A Lily-Rufus Dating Rumor

After the show, it's the after party. After the party, it's the Gossip Girl reunion. Kelly Rutherford, who played Lily — Serena's mother — on the show, recently posted an Instagram of herself with Chace Crawford (Nate), Michelle Trachtenberg (Georgina), and Jessica Szohr (Vanessa). Yes, it would have been more ideal if Blair and Serena had been there, too. But, we'll take what we can get.

Even more interesting is that a closer examination of the cast's Instagram accounts suggests Rutherford may be currently dating Matthew Settle, who played her husband, Rufus, on the show. Look at the picture of them he posted to his account on Valentine's Day, for example. Or, this picture of them hugging and looking very sweet and happy together. Or, this selfie from four months ago. To be frank, the evidence here is overwhelming. Life must be imitating art, because Lily and Rufus are very probably an item.
