For someone who seemingly spends all her time in red carpet gowns, Margot Robbie sure knows how to do menswear right. Just hours after wearing off-the-runway Giambattista Valli to the Focus premiere in L.A., she stopped by The Today Show to talk about her new flick with Will Smith. The question remains whether the movie’s worth seeing — but Robbie’s outfit is undoubtedly worth stealing.
Robbie skipped the whole dress rigmarole and opted for high-waisted, black trousers, tailored perfectly to reveal a peek of her black stilettos. Even though her pale blouse was both long-sleeved and high-necked, she still managed to look like a total siren. Maybe it’s because this is Margot Robbie we’re talking about — but the nude-hued top tucked into waist-cinching pants certainly didn’t hurt. Her abstract-print coat pulled the pieces together, and served as a nice reminder that statement coats are still, in fact, the best. Blue shades and a bright, orange bag both brought a playful pop of color.
It’s a clever outfit that’s super-simple to recreate — which, unfortunately, isn’t the case for the flawless shade of golden blonde that Robbie’s locks are flaunting these days.
