While folks were out brunching and enjoying the unseasonably
warm weekend in the Bay, an S.F. icon paid the city a visit — and no one even
flinched.
John Stamos took a leisurely stroll in Alamo Square Park
this weekend and stopped to pose in front of the Painted Ladies —
specifically, the Full House abode his expertly coiffed character
Uncle Jesse called home. It would have been the
perfect photo opportunity...only no one seemed to notice he was even there.
Stamos
posted the photo on his Instagram of him standing in front of the abode with the caption "Boy, these youngsters have 0.0 idea what they're
missing. #Fullhousehouse. #TURNAROUND." In the tourists’ defense, he was pretty undercover in sunglasses and
a hat.
Anna-Alexia Basile, who
lives in the building next door, was surprised to hear that the
star had paid the 'hood a visit. "The
Painted Ladies and the view are so magnetizing that I'm not surprised
those Full House fans missed hunky Uncle Jesse," she told us. "Living on the park you
hear the Full House theme song at least twice a day but never in your
wildest dreams expect to see one of the original cast members."
While his Painted Ladies cameo
may have been the most talked-about stop of Stamos' weekend, a peek at his feed reveals the star did a ton of sightseeing — including a trip to the Ferry Building and the Exploratorium. Have mercy!
