Katy Perry did an entirely different sort of social media overshare
last night. She posted a video of her dog, Butters, referencing
Rihanna's new single and captioning it: "BITCH BETTER HAVE MY MONEY IF BITCH
WANTS SAUSAGES!"
The problem is that Butters' dog tag was showing, and it
clearly reveals Perry's phone number. Luckily, Perry's legion of fans — which
includes nearly 70 million followers on Twitter and over 16 million on Instagram — were quick to point out the leakage. It's not quite as embarrassing as
when you tweet something instead of direct messaging it, but it's definitely a
modern hazard. In any case, Perry deleted all of it and changed her number immediately.
Perry is currently on her Prismatic world tour. Like any
normal pet owner, she occasionally gets photo and video updates from Butters' pal, Josh
Lekach. It is still not clear if Butters ever got any sausages. (E! Online)
