“No Kardashian Parking” Signs Are Popping Up All Over Hollywood

Traffic in Los Angeles is known to be a nightmare, but it's not as bad as trying to find a parking spot — especially if you're a Kardashian.

A slew of "No Kardashian Parking" signs are creeping up all over Hollywood. Street artist Plastic Jesus has been placing them across the city and he told The Hollywood Reporter that he's got seven signs out there. And yes, there's one right in front of the Dash store. 

Refinery29 emailed with Plastic Jesus this morning about his work. "The No Kardashian signs are intended to encourage a dialogue about our obsession with celebrity," he told us. "The Kardashians are probably the highest profile media celebs. Whenever they leave their home it turns into a media event. What happened to real news about issues that matter? The media and consumer has become lazy."

His social commentary proves he isn't the only one who's feeling a bit fatigued by Kardashian overload. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles police department told THR  "no complaints have yet been filed about the signs." However, the LAPD did also add the art installment is a "pretty clear case of vandalism."
