Anyone's who's seen Pitch Perfect knows that Anna Kendrick's character, Beca Mitchell, is a total HBIC and nonconformist. She'd never do something like "pose sexy!" if a photographer urged her to do so. As the person responsible for embodying Beca and her governing principles in all things Pitch Perfect and now Pitch Perfect 2, Kendrick knows this to be true. Unfortunately, the studio behind the films wasn't happy with her decision to strike an arms-crossed, non-nonsense boss pose on the poster for the sequel.
"They were sweating because I wouldn't strike a sexy pose," Kendrick wrote on Instagram. Luckily, Pitch Perfect fans could see what the studio couldn't. They started a social media movement with a hashtag, #BossPitch, and started sharing photos of themselves striking Anna/Beca's totally boss pose on the poster. The actress has been sharing many of the images on her Instagram account.

"Love that you guys embrace Beca the badass!" Kendrick wrote to thank her fans. She added a hashtag of her own, #BecaEffinMitchell, which has also started making the rounds.
