Vanessa Hudgens Makes Wearing Overalls Look Effortless

Since moving to New York, Vanessa Hudgens' style has transformed from hippie flower child to full-on Fashion Person. She’s ditched her flowy maxis and Free People fedoras for a wardrobe that would fit right in on the L train. 

For her most recent look, she fearlessly incorporated not one but three of-the-moment trends: overalls, a crop top, and Birkenstocks. That's a lot of statement pieces at once, sure, but it works pretty effortlessly because Vanessa smartly stuck with understated colors, incorporated a sophisticated stripe, and avoided over-the-top silhouettes. Her denim is slouchy, but not overwhelmingly baggy. The wash is distressed, but not destroyed. And, the too-long hem is cleverly cuffed up — all the better to show off her bronze Birks.
