Update: Though the star hasn't said so herself, rumors are circling that she may in fact be filming her Tinder dates. A source on site at the bowling alley were she met up with lucky bachelor number on this week said that cameras were definitely rolling . No word yet as to whether this is all just a bid for a reality show about online dating, but you can be sure we'll keep you posted.
Hilary Duff has officially put herself back on the dating market, but the Younger star is doing things a little differently this time around. “All my life, I’ve always had really serious boyfriends. I’ve always met people through work,” she confessed on the L.A.’s “Valentine in the Morning” radio show on Tuesday. No more, though. To shake things up, Duff joined Tinder — and is heading out on her very first date with a “normie” tonight. Although the actress and mom to Luca, age 3, admits that immediate physical attraction plays a part in whether she swipes right, the guy has to be funny for her to move forward. Along with a few friends (which may be code for chaperones), she’s going bowling with a dude who apparently made her laugh with his profile. This isn't the only comedian she's unearthed on the app, though: Duff says she's talking to nine Tinderers at the moment. As for her own profile, the actress is keeping things breezy and easy. “My profile says ‘Let’s eat pizza,’” she shared, also noting that if you want to go out with Lizzie McGuire, then don’t bring a shirtless mirror selfie to the table. “That’s instantly a left.” If there was ever a “Stars — They’re Just Like Us!” moment, this is definitely it. These days, an estimated 50 million people are on Tinder, and the app sees 12 million matches per day — so why shouldn’t Hilary Duff be able to get in on the action? We say: Go get'em, girl. Watch the video below for more snippets of Hilary's interview.
