Blake Lively has accomplished many things in her 27 years on the planet. She breathed life into Cecily von Ziegesar's iconic YA character, Serena van der Woodsen, on Gossip Girl. She launched Preserve, a lifestyle and e-commerce site that looks like a Pinterest board's vision board. She counts Martha Stewart as both a friend and mentor. She has a baby girl named James with Ryan Reynolds. The list goes on and on. There's apparently one thing Blake Lively still wants to do, though.
She wants to go to Harvard Business School.
In a new interview with Stylist, the site asked Lively what else is left for her to achieve. The response? "I have a dream to go to Harvard Business School and one of these days I will do that…in my spare time!" the extremely busy actress, mom, and entrepreneur stated.
For Lively, business isn't just about capitalism and making money. "Business is also about generosity. Entrepreneurs helping each other out." She has found the world of enterprise more welcoming than adversarial. "People starting their own companies who could be competitors are actually saying to me, 'This is a mistake I made and this is how you can do it better. Meet my technology officer who can teach you how to build your technology platform.' You realize there is room for everyone, as long as you work hard enough."
Imagine matriculating to Harvard Business School and having Blake Lively in your cohort? On the plus side, you'd probably get a discount at Preserve. (Stylist)
