Audrey Hepburn’s Granddaughter Flexes Her Modeling Muscles Again

UPDATE: Audrey Hepburn left a legacy of classic movies and inspiring words of wisdom. But today — what would have been Audrey's 86th birthday — we're remembering the star in another way, by glancing back at some of the most memorable shots of her granddaughter (and sometimes doppelgänger), up-and-coming model Emma Ferrer. Well, these are the most memorable so far; something tells us Ferrer's got way more major moments to come.
This article was originally published October 22, 2014.
The first Audrey Hepburn movie Emma Ferrer ever watched was Breakfast At Tiffany’s. And, while you may also have a soft spot for the iconic Givenchy dress, unlike your experience with the film, seeing it also happened to be the very first time she saw her grandmother — Audrey Hepburn, that is — on screen.
Before the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Ferrer was practically an unknown in the public eye. She was a 20-year-old student who grew up in Switzerland, wanted to work in an artistic field, and had inherited the beautiful, sometimes sweet and innocent, looks of her grandmother. But, for Yahoo Style today, she takes another big step in her budding modeling career, posing for an editorial that we suspect is a bit more Emma and slightly less Audrey-inspired.
What we found most interesting of all about the Yahoo Style feature was Emma's experience learning about who her grandmother was. "I read in the Daily Mail that my nursery was modeled after my grandmother’s dressing room," she tells Yahoo Style. "I was like, ‘That’s really cool ‘cause I didn’t know that!'" In addition, she adds that as a child she didn't really understand that the matriarch of her family happened to be a member of Hollywood royalty. "I didn’t know what ‘famous’ was."
With a couple major fashion shoots under her belt, Ferrer's perspective on fame is likely already changing. Take a look at more of the images from the editorial ahead, and jump over to Yahoo Style for more of Emma's personal story.
