Reese Witherspoon and her daughter, Ava Phillippe, have been the talk of the town lately. And, rightfully so, as it not only mind-blowing to see how much Ava has grown up, but the two look nearly identical (though we do see a hint of father, Ryan, in those eyes). The pair is very close, and in fact, the mother-daughter relationships in the Witherspoon clan are seemingly unbreakable.
Throughout the years, thanks to social media, we've been able to witness special moments Witherspoon's spent with her mother, Betty. They appear to have the mother-daughter relationship many dream of. Not only does Reese's mom make a beautiful Oscar date, but she is also clearly the star's biggest fan. She's got her daughter's back — and Witherspoon has the adorable text messages to prove it. Her mother's texting style is all too familiar: multiple lines, semi-sporadic thoughts, and many emoji.
We'd guess that the southern belle's been receiving texts from her mother for quite some time, but she started sharing their laughable (often one-sided) conversations via Instagram last December. It was The Golden Girls that started it all:

Then, Witherspoon got the biggest and best encouragement before the Golden Globes. So many hearts. So much love.
Before the Oscars, her mom shed some light on how busy Whole Foods can be, and just how much she adores Cheryl Strayed.
Finally, mama Betty sent her daughter a smile after losing the Oscar — and a hello to Neil Patrick Harris, of course.
We can't wait to see what she has to say next. As Mother's Day approaches, we imagine Witherspoon is spending the day with her favorite girls — Betty and Ava.
