You're on notice, Team Robsten. FKA twigs isn't having your hate. The singer has been subjected to serious abuse (much of it racial in nature) since she began dating Robert Pattinson (maybe fiancé?). In a new interview with The New York Times, however, the British crooner says she's had it with the abuse that comes with "being sucked into the vortex of Twilight," as she put it.  “It’s really hard — I can’t begin to explain how awful it is,” she told the paper. “It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror.”
The scrutiny is especially painful when it comes to the Twittersphere attacking the musician's biracial background.  “It’s relentless,” she said. “There’s no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I’m not a monkey.”   Ultimately, however, the criticism is "worth it," she said.  "Nothing can impale my work or make me choose not to say things a certain way or make an image the way I want,” she added.  Girl, you do you. So long as you remain "so happy," it's all just noise.
