Beyoncé Embraces Colorblocking Trend In Head-To-Toe Neon

Pretty much everyone agrees that Kim Kardashian's Met Ball dress this year was basically Beyonce's Met Ball dress from last year. And, to say that the reality star occasionally gleans fashion inspo from Queen B isn't exactly a stretch.

But, Beyoncé may have just — inadvertently, of course — figured out a way to put an end to the copycatting. Yesterday, she was spotted in New York City wearing tropical hues from head to toe. Kim hasn't worn anything brighter than beige practically since she started dating Kanye (he even famously threw away all of her pre-Yeezy clothes). It’s safe to assume she's not about to start now.

Regardless of Kanye's current preferred palette, he'd undoubtedly be down with B's outstanding colorblock outfit. The orange pencil skirt and fuchsia blouse are certainly not an obvious pairing, especially teamed with royal blue Prada platforms and a matching trench. But, it all comes together seamlessly, because the silhouette is understated and she kept accessories to a minimum.
