George Clooney is a naturally beautiful human. And it looks like he's going to take his chances riding that wave. Clooney doesn't plan on dying his hair or getting plastic surgery. "I think it actually makes you look older," The Telegraph reports. While working in an industry that's always asking its stars to look youthful at the very least, Clooney says we all just have to accept age for what it is — even if that means actors won't get the roles they once did. "You have to get used to that idea that your roles in films and who you are and how you’re perceived is going to change. That will disappoint people at times," the actor told BBC presenter Jenni Murray. Of course, Hollywood has always had remarkably different standards for women. Look at Maggie Gyllenhaal, 37, who was told she was "too old" to play the love interest of a 55-year-old man. However, Clooney did mention that the stark revelation of double standards for male and female actors came as a silver lining to the otherwise hot mess that was the Sony email hacks. Specifically, the exposure of an unbelievable pay gap between men and women. "The one good thing that has come out of it is the conversation in very liberal Hollywood that women aren’t being paid the same," he told Murray. "I think there are 15 female directors in town. I think it’s a very good conversation they're starting to have." So, there you have it. Clooney will continue to age like a fine wine, as he's been doing for years. Women will continue to be treated unfairly in Hollywood — but at least they aren't the only ones talking about it. (The Telegraph)
