Lily-Rose Depp isn't one of those celebrity kids who hires a pop star to sing "Happy Birthday," or arrives to their own 16th birthday party in a horse-drawn carriage as fireworks go off. In fact, the teen didn't want a sweet 16 at all. However, a sour 16? Now, that's something else entirely.
As E! notes, the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis bucked tradition, and hosted a tongue-in-cheek "sour 16" for her big birthday. The teen documented the festivities on her Instagram, showing off photos of a fun costume party, and a family dinner with her parents and step-mother, Amber Heard.
Depp's official birthday was on Wednesday, May 27, and we're already rethinking our own birthday plans. Who says a girl can't wear a tiara and a string of garlic on her special day? We'd expect nothing less from a cool-ass teen who has spent a good chunk of her childhood in the presence of Tim Burton.
Happy birthday, kid. Way to do things your way.
