You Won’t Recognize Steve Irwin’s Teenage Daughter

It's been nearly 10 years since Steve Irwin — more endearingly known as The Crocodile Hunter — died when a stingray pierced his chest. And nothing reminds us of how quickly the time has gone like seeing his daughter Bindi Sue all grown up. Now 16 years old, Bindi shared an Instagram on Tuesday in which she's looking especially beautiful. Her photo-sharing account also demonstrates something even more heartening: It looks like she's following in her father's footsteps. Bindi not only posts plenty of pictures of herself with wildlife, she uses her account to spread awareness about animals in need. (On Monday, she posted a picture of the Boobook Owl on behalf of the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.) In fact, it looks like her entire family is keeping up the good work of the late Crocodile Hunter. Of course, Bindi's Instagram account has its heartbreaking moments. She sometimes shares old pictures of her father along with quotes about love and grief. We miss you, Steve, but it makes us so happy to see the Irwins continue your incredible work.
