Like the jet-setter that she is, Kendall Jenner flew across the country to New York City after riding the carousel at niece North West’s Disneyland birthday extravaganza. Despite being a world-famous supermodel, the 19-year-old obviously didn’t want to miss out on any summer fun with her BFFs, Hailey Baldwin and Jaden Smith. Squad FOMO, you know? And, lucky for the trio of teenaged celebrity spawn, the usually sweltering, sticky, hot New York weather cooled down for their activity-filled afternoon — and just in time for Kendall to show off a few summer appropriate layering tricks.
Instead of the expected light summer sweater, the Calvin Klein model opted for a gray, fine knit — almost neoprene — crop top in a playful bubble silhouette, a look typically seen on her younger sis Kylie. She matched it with elevated, sporty summer whites: crisp, tapered trousers and Miu Miu cap-toe slip-on sneakers. Jenner then edged up the casual look with an ivory moto jacket thrown over her shoulders. Unsurprisingly, she accessorized like the high fashion star that she is. Normally, a black leather bag accenting such a light palette might seem too heavy, but she lightened up the look (and the mood) with a furry white and teal pouf accent on her trusty Céline Nano Luggage satchel.
