A lecture on the media's sexual objectification of women led by one of the most sexually objectified celebrities in pop culture? Save us a front row seat, please.
Kim Kardashian will be speaking about the media's sexual objectification of women at an Oakland, California appearance on June 30, People magazine is reporting. This unusual appearance is part of the press tour for her new book Selfish. The live event, hosted by the Commonwealth Club of California, will feature an INFORUM interview between retired Judge LaDoris H. Cordell and Kardashian.
In addition to discussing objectification, she'll also be treating the audience at Paramount Theater to insights on selfies, running a business and managing her hectic family life. Consider it Kardashian Empire Building 101.
Tickets range from $40 to $300 for VIP seats.
Typically, it's the photos of Kim, like the infamous #BreakTheInternet Paper magazine cover, that get us talking. But in this instance, we'll be hanging on her every word.
