Jennifer Lawrence Is Bringing Back Turquoise Jewelry

Like the iconic LBD, the little white dress has become a wardrobe essential. But similar to its classic black counterpart, a LWD can easily run the risk of looking snoozy and staid. But with a bit of fresh, inventive styling, a little white dress can definitely stand out from the crowd. A generous dash of joie de vivre, courtesy of Jennifer Lawrence, doesn't hurt, either.

We last spotted the Hunger Games star in Los Angeles (in a different LWD!) on a family outing, and she's since jetted across the country to New York. Heading out to dinner with friends, the actress donned an A-line sleeveless dress, a style that naturally reads less twee and girly than many lace iterations of the white frock. Jennifer gave the minimalist dress a boho twist with her silver jewelry: a crystal-shaped turquoise necklace layered with a circular pendant chain, an engraved cuff, and a turquoise-embellished bracelet on the opposite wrist. The look's '70s vibe was tempered by the star's edgy, laser-cut, ribbon lace-up booties and a black-and-white mini bucket bag by Kenneth Cole. Oh, and a pair of chopstick fangs. Never change, J Lawr, never change.
