Many were outraged when Sofia Vergara's ex-fiancé, Nick Loeb, took legal action to assert his rights over two frozen embryos the couple had once planned to use for IVF. Now, pro-life protesters have taken it upon themselves to get involved.
Protesters carried signs reading, "Lives created should be lives protected," at last night's Magic Mike XXL premiere, where the actress came out to support her new love, Joe Manganiello. Another sign urged the mother-of-one to "unfreeze your daughters, unfreeze your heart."
Earlier in the week, the Colombian-born actress' Hollywood Walk of Fame star was vandalized, with someone scrawling #EmbryoDefense on it. The Embryo Defense group was also responsible for last night's protest, and has been tweeting about Vergara's "lack of parental responsibility." Another tweet noted that Manganiello's co-star Channing Tatum is allegedly pro-life, as if that would somehow influence Vergara to change her mind.
It's difficult not to be outraged and disgusted by these invasive tactics. What Vergara does with her body, and her embryos, should be nobody's business but hers. [Daily Mail]
