Taylor Swift is on a roll: This week alone, she single-handedly convinced Apple Music to pay artists for streaming their work and called out tabloids for the anti-feminist practice of referring to her as "Harry Styles' ex." Now, the musical wunderkind — alongside her proud new paramour, Calvin Harris — has done the seemingly impossible: Dethroned Queen Bey and husband Jay Z as the highest-earning celebrity couple, according to Forbes. For the first time, Forbes Celebrity 100 list, which will officially be released Monday, June 29, is ranking top entertainers by annual income only. A mere three power couples make the list: Swift and Harris, Beyoncé and Jay Z, and country crooners Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. Topping the roster with an impressive $146 million, Swift and her Scottish DJ beau both boost their respective musical incomes with quite lucrative endorsement deals (Swift with Diet Coke, Keds and Sony; Harris with Giorgio Armani and Sol Republic headphones). Coming in at a solid second place with $110.5 million, Bey and Jay can cite their co-headlined On the Run tour as a source of mucho dinero; despite only playing 22 shows in the Forbes' scoring period, the concert series still ranked as the fifth highest grossing outing of 2014. (The loot earned from Jay Z's entertainment company, Roc Nation, and Beyoncé's Pepsi and H&M endorsements certainly didn't hurt, either.) Country music favorites Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton complete the trifecta of happy couples with $57 million, thanks in part to Shelton's hosting gig on The Voice, Lambert's award-winning hit record, Platinum, and a few helpful deals with non-musical ventures like Red55 Wine. Okay, so maybe money doesn't buy you happiness — or love, for that matter. But once you've found that special someone, raking in the dough can be yet another exercise in togetherness. Have fun spending it, you crazy kids. [Forbes]
