Clueless, Amy Heckerling's take on Jane Austen's Emma, turns 20 on July 19, and the men and women who grew up with Cher, Dionne, and Tai are still obsessed. The fandom even called for an entire book about Clueless — seriously! It's easy to see why the millennial generation fell in love with Cher and her crew. Heckerling's 1995 classic was a highly quotable, unabashedly girly, bright piece of filmmaking in the era of grunge, with dreamy Paul Rudd and adorable Alicia Silverstone and Brittany Murphy in the leads. It was a fashion-forward, slang-loving ode to girldom that spoke to young women (and men!) everywhere.
