This Wedding Story Is Like A Nicholas Sparks Book Brought To Life

Start reaching for the hankies in 3, 2, 1... In a story ripped right out of a Nicholas Sparks novel (or maybe that Rachel McAdams movie The Vow), a Tennessee couple is raising funds for their second wedding — because the bride can't remember their first. As WXPI reports, newlywed Justice Stamper was in a car accident just 19 days after her wedding to Jeremy Michael Clayton Stamper. The accident caused Stamper to suffer from amnesia, with memories from the weeks leading up to her wedding completely erased. As such, she can't recall actually marrying her husband, Jeremy. "I was heartbroken and instantly said I would do it all again for her," Jeremy has said. The plan? Tie the knot once again. The couple has launched a GoFundMe page to raise $5,000 for a second wedding, scheduled for August 1, their first anniversary. The "Stamper Wedding Round 2" has already raised more than $8,600 in donations from people touched by the couple's story. Here's hoping the second wedding brings memories to last a lifetime. Good luck, lovebirds!
