What Kylie Jenner Wears on a Mother-Daughter Night Out

While big sister Kendall ruled the runways during Paris Couture Week (and played the part of Karl Lagerfeld’s honored bride at Chanel), Kylie Jenner kept busy in her hometown of Los Angeles. She enjoyed some mother-daughter time while having dinner with Kris and hitting the Hollywood circuit for the premiere of The Gallows. All the while, the young homeowner showed us how to dress up those leggings that all the It Girls are wearing outside of the gym (lookin’ at you, Gigi Hadid).

Jenner started with an all-black palette: a bandage-y crop top and body-contouring opaque leggings. But she made the gym-to-party ensemble red carpet ready with one easy trick: a long, white, collarless coat by Kimora Lee Simmons. The minimalist below-the-knee duster managed to make a dramatic statement with delicate piping and contrasting vented panels. The structured, but flowing layer both polished and tempered the more night- (or health-) club-ready short and tight pieces underneath. Jenner complemented the sleek lines with another elongating styling strategy: buckling the ankle straps of her high heel sandals over the hemline of her leggings. Her peachy Hermès Birkin bag brought a lone element of color — and a final luxurious touch to the outfit. Couture week, what?
