“Jeremy Piven Shoved His Tongue All The Way Down To My Heart,” Says Debra Messing

Debra Messing kissed a lot of men over the course of shooting Will & Grace — and, clearly, some of them were better than others. During a recent conversation with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens: Live, Messing got frank about a particular co-star who didn't win any points for his smooching style. A caller on the show asked Messing which guest stars were her favorite to work with (clearly, Harry Connick, Jr. and Bobby Cannavale took home those honors), and which were her least favorite. Messing then volunteered one on-screen romantic interest she wasn't a fan of: Jeremy Piven. "The very first day of rehearsal, he shoved his tongue all the way down to my heart," Messing shared. "And I was just like, 'Whoa!' And he goes, 'Yeah, yeah... That's it, I'm in.'" She said she told him that since this was comedy, there wasn't any need to "go that deep. But, every time, he went for it." "He didn't ask... It was just like, 'I'm here. I get to do this. I'm gonna do it.'" While Messing shared the anecdote with some levity, there's something a little disturbing about this story. An actress tells her male co-star that he doesn't need to be quite so aggressive about their on-screen lip-lock, and he completely ignores her? That would put us off him, too. But the most annoying part of this video might be when actress Ali Wentworth, a fellow guest on Cohen's show, tells Messing that she should be "flattered" by Piven's slobbery attentions. Um, what? No, thank you.
