Tonight's special episode of The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All, will almost certainly be packed with melodrama. Although, host Chris Harrison will also be addressing one central subject from this season's show that should be taken very seriously: cyberbullying.
When 30-year-old series star Kaitlyn Bristowe admitted to sleeping with suitor, Nick Viall during an early one-on-one date, she was suddenly flooded with ruthless, slut-shaming comments on social media. Tonight on the show, host Chris Harrison will read some of the most hurtful tweets aloud — and also give Bristowe a chance to address the haters herself.
"Yes that hurt, and that's not okay," Bristowe told E! about her experience, while the network was on set to witness the filming of the penultimate episode.
"Kaitlyn reads these comments, and she's a human being," Harrison added. He also said that some good could come out of addressing slut-shaming in such a public way. "The hate — that crap has got to stop," he said. We couldn't be more in agreement — especially after seeing some of the awful comments sent to Bristowe in the episode preview below.
