If there was ever a face that could re-brand the "terrible twos" as the "unbearably adorable twos," it might be the one belonging to little Prince George, who will officially enter his second year in the world Wednesday of this week.
To commemorate the little tyke's birthday, Kensington Palace released a photo of the tot, snapped by photographer Mario Testino earlier this month during the family celebration of Princess Charlotte's christening, according to People. In the picture, which appeared on the royal Twitter account today, George is squirming in the arms of his dear old dad. Cue all the "awwws" across the world.
"This photograph captures a very happy moment on what was a special day for The Duke and Duchess and their family," a spokesman for Kensington Palace shared. "They are very pleased to share this picture as they celebrate Prince George's second birthday." In the pic, George is sporting an outfit by one of his mom's favorite designers, Rachel Riley, and happily showing off all of his baby teeth.
He's growing up to look more and more like his regal pops, though there are definitely some elements of The Duchess shining through. Either way, he's the crown prince of precious. How does the royal family ever get anything accomplished with those cheeks around? It's a mystery.
