Taylor Swift’s New Godson Has A Very Interesting Name

Taylor Swift has had quite a week. Not only did the 2015 MTV VMA nominations (of which Swift earned nine) spark some drama between her and Nicki Minaj, but the situation (now resolved) also reignited some bad blood between Swift and Katy Perry. Fortunately, she has a brand-new godson to brighten up her days. We've been eagerly anticipating the birth of Jaime King and Kyle Newman's second child ever since Swift was named the godmother. Now that he's here, surely the first godchild of the goddess of pop deserves a suitably grand monicker. On July 23, King and Newman revealed the name of their newborn on Twitter. "So happy Leo Thames is in the world," Newman wrote. Leo's middle name, of course, is a shout-out to the London river. But, we're also in awe of the fact that Swift's godson is named after the most popular boyfriend among her multiple model friends. Granted, Lily Aldridge is married and Karlie Kloss is in a long-term relationship. Among the other Victoria's Secret Angels, however, Leo is an all-too-familiar name. We just hope Swift's statuesque squad members don't get confused when Swift starts telling them that she "spent the whole night with Leo," or "couldn't stop kissing Leo all weekend."
