UPDATE: Bobby Brown Issues Statement About “Angel” Bobbi Kristina

UPDATE: Singer Bobby Brown and his lawyer, Christopher Brown of Boston's Brown & Rosen LLC, have released statements to Refinery29 regarding the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. "Yesterday Bobbi Kristina Brown took her place in heaven," Christopher Brown said. “Krissy fought to get well for months, however she has succumb to her injuries.” Bobby Brown offered his own words: “Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”

This story was originally published on July 27 at 9 a.m. Whitney Houston's family has released an official statement regarding Bobbi Kristina Brown's death yesterday. The 22-year-old had been in hospice since June. "It is hard to say goodbye," reads a message posted on the Facebook page for Brown's late mother. "On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: 'The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.'"
