Kylie Jenner Wears A Shorts Suit To The Theater

It was a Kardashian family outing over the weekend — and every K-monikered family member put on their Sunday best. Kylie Jenner opted for a black and white suit to join sisters Kim, Kourtney (sans Scott Disick, obvs) and Kendall, plus momager Kris. But a shorts suit, mind you, because she clearly wanted to add her signature sartorial stamp to a decidedly nontraditional suiting look.

To take in a showing of the classic Phantom of the Opera and enjoy a post-theatre family dinner, Jenner wore a diamond-printed shorts and blazer set by Sass & Bide. (We also kind of love that the Kardashian-Jenner clan enjoys the musical oeuvre of Andrew Lloyd Webber.) The pared-down color palette, plus exquisite tailoring, elegantly countered the sassier leg-baring effect of the outfit. She smartly kept the rest of her accessories minimal, too: black single-strap sandals and a small shoulder bag. Granted, the recent high school grad (mazel!) added her own flair to the black and white ensemble: fun fringe on the bag and loads of statement jewelry. Perfect for a Kardashian family affair and versatile enough for quick gas run. The 17-year-old even visited the self-serve pump without mussing her carefully styled outfit. Stars: just like us.
