Reese Witherspoon Is Her Website’s Best Customer

Reese Witherspoon looked just as adorable as she did as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (and Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde) in a summery polka-dot outfit earlier this week. The mega-producer-slash-actress not only pulled off a hat trick of print mixes, but also proved that she’s basically the best not-so subliminal marketing tool for her fashion and lifestyle website, Draper James.

Witherspoon showed us how to expertly mix two seemingly disparate prints, courtesy of her Southern hospitality infused e-commerce site — a super cute navy and white short-sleeved top paired with a peach-print tote. By sticking with the same color palette, she made the pattern co-mingling coordinate, not clash. Instead of wearing the matching cropped trousers (also delightful), Witherspoon opted for skinny white jeans to avoid a pattern overload. The ankle-length hem was also perfect to show off a pair of tasseled rattan wedges by fashion darling Paul Andrew. The neutral hue didn’t clash with all the graphics, but the fringe detail quietly added another element of whimsy to her look. Leopard framed sunnies rounded out her print mash-up masterclass.
