May I have your attention please. Zac Efron has somehow managed to make the unsexiest device invented since the catheter and the scourge of the 21st century appear pretty foxy. I'm talking, of course, about the selfie stick. My opinion on selfie sticks is incredibly soured by the fact that I've been hit in the face by roughly 400 of them, during runs across the Brooklyn Bridge.
Still, given the fact that they've been banned at most large music festivals and Disney theme parks, I'm pretty sure I'm in the majority when I say that selfie sticks are not only unsexy, they're also dangerous. These poking devices completely distract their holders from where they're going and upon whose face they're about to inflict harm. [Steps off soapbox.]
However, when I see photos of Zac Efron and his girlfriend Sami Miro clearly taken using a selfie stick, my negative outlook on the annoying devices shifts entirely. Without a selfie stick, we wouldn't be able to see the athleticism in Efron's crouch in this photo he shared in June.

And, thanks to a selfie stick, we can see how effortlessly cool Efron and Miro look in their matching bike riding outfits from August 2.
Somehow, Efron and Miro make selfie sticks look decidedly sexy. That's assuming, of course, that they took that bike ride photo at a full stop in a fairly empty area, and not rushing headlong through a crowd of people. It's all fun and sexiness until someone loses an eye, while trying to take the perfect photo during a bike ride.
