Taylor Swift Says It’s Okay For Her “Sisterhood” To Have Dated The Same Guys

The lack of a crop top and mini skirt or coterie of supermodel gal pals might throw you off, but yes, that is Taylor Swift gracing Vanity Fair's September cover.
Swift suited up for her London shoot with Mario Testino, and spoke candidly about her battle to get royalties from Apple Music and Spotify. She also shared how she's now friends with former nemesis Kanye West, a relationship brokered by Jay Z. But, you can't talk about Tay and her social circle without fixating on her squad of supermodels, pop stars, and award-winning actresses. Swift explained how her sisterly bonds have triumphed over any concerns of jealousy or backstabbing. “We even have girls in our group who have dated the same people,” Swift told the magazine. “It’s almost like the sisterhood has such a higher place on the list of priorities for us. It’s so much more important than some guy that it didn’t work out with." She continued: “When you’ve got this group of girls who need each other as much as we need each other, in this climate, when it’s so hard for women to be understood and portrayed the right way in the media...now more than ever we need to be good and kind to each other and not judge each other — and just because you have the same taste in men, we don’t hold that against each other.” Well, that's a relief. We'd hate to see Swift and pal Gigi Hadid fall out over something as silly as Joe Jonas.
