If you didn't speak French already, these phrases (among many others) most likely made it into your vocabulary in the mid-aughts thanks to electro-pop sensation Yelle. The band, consisting of members Julie Budet (a.k.a. Yelle), Jean-François Perrier, and Tanguy Destable, brought Francophone dance music to the masses, captivating even those who had absolutely no idea what they were saying.
After a year of touring in the United States (and introducing the world to cool, new viral hits, like their latest single, "Ba$$in"), Yelle returned to New York this past weekend to headline Brooklyn's Full Moon Fest. There, Julie showed us around her dressing room bus (#tourlife) and gave a play-by-play of the moments before taking the stage.
