Can Kendall Jenner Bring Back The Trucker Hat?

Everyone go dig that Von Dutch cap out of your early-aughts wardrobe archives, because Kendall Jenner is making trucker hats happen all over again. While heading for a flight at LAX, the supermodel tried to duck the paparazzi with a double dose of face cover: a Goorin Bros. Melrose-themed cap loosely perched atop her head and Saint Laurent oversize aviator shades. Didn’t work, though — the paps snapped her, big sis Khloé and momager Kris Jenner as usual.

Kendall paid another sartorial homage to that not-so-long-gone era when Britney Spears and boy bands that are not One Direction reigned supreme. (OMG, Harry Styles was six years old when *NSYNC’s “It’s Gonna Be Me” ruled the charts...). Her black T-shirt was definitely more of the baby-tee variety than the boxier, looser-fit styles that the girls tend to favor now (but not for long, perhaps?). The supermodel stayed contemporary with her Lovers + Friends skinny moto jeans (what, no boot cuts?) and her ultra-plush Givenchy bowling satchel. Oh, and also of note: like BFF Gigi Hadid, Kendall is making black stiletto pumps the airplane footwear of choice. Buh-bye, sneakers.
