The phrase "life-giving" gets thrown around a lot these days, but we can pretty honestly say that it's called for in this instance. Nylon has released a video of the fierce and fabulous Laverne Cox showing off three dance moves for three different situations, including a flawless ode to Beyoncé.
The clip finds the trans activist and Orange is the New Black star breaking out her best moves in a lovely blue and grey ensemble. It kicks off with Cox showing how she’d get down at a high school dance, then moves on to her moves for picking someone up at a club. (If only we all could look as graceful and gorgeous as Cox when we shimmy up to fellow club-goers.)
But, Cox saves the best for last when she breaks it down as Queen Bey. Cox struts her stuff to the sounds of "Yoncé /Partition," and has it all down-pat — from the booty-shaking moves to the killer attitude. Can we please get these two together on stage and watch the magic happen? It would, you know, give us life
