J.K. Rowling, queen of the written word, is at it again.
Not only did she give us magic, mystery, and mayhem in the Harry Potter series, but this wonderful woman also gifts us with sage words of widsom via Twitter on the regular.
She isn't afraid to call it like she sees it — remember those tweets directed at Rupert Murdoch? Ouch. Case in point: When an Egyptian fan reached out to Rowling, she had nothing but sassy advice and hugs to give.

Don't you dare let their laughter extinguish your ambition. Turn it into fuel! Big hugs from one writer to another x https://t.co/w3lYXAosJj

Have truer words ever been spoken, er, tweeted?
Women's rights in Egypt aren't exactly the greatest, in fact it is considered one of the worst countries in the world for women. Amal Clooney was nearly thrown in jail for speaking out against the country's judicial system. We can imagine that being a writer (and thus educated) would seem like a threat — no wonder this girl feels discouraged.
If only magic wands were real and could solve all the world's problems. Until then, we'll have inspiring advice from J. K. Rowling to keep us going. Her words make their point loud and clear: Follow your dreams, haters be damned.
