Update: Heidi Klum has responded to Donald Trump's rude rating of her appearance, poking fun at the diss in a new video shared on Twitter. Yes, that's a guy in a Trump mask knocking her off her perfect-10 pedestal. We're happy to see that Klum has a sense of humor about the insult, though we also wouldn't mind if she dispatched ex-husband Seal to loudly sing "Kiss From a Rose" over every single Trump speech going forward.

This article was originally published on August 15, 2015. Perhaps it's his habit of marrying models and beauty queens, his ownership of the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, or simply his inability to edit whatever thought pops into his cotton candy-coated brain, but for some reason, Donald Trump feels entitled to judge women based on their looks. The presidential candidate addressed the subject of women's attractiveness in a profile by Maureen Dowd published in The New York Times on Sunday. Trump insisted that political rivals Carly Fiorina and Hillary Clinton are off-limits when it comes to critiques about appearance — "Oh, I would never talk about their looks," he told Dowd, somewhat dismissively. But apparently, he has no such shame when it comes to rating a supermodel like Heidi Klum. "Heidi Klum. Sadly, she’s no longer a 10,” Trump noted. Wow. Judging by his comments, Trump sees certain attractive celebrities as fair game. "Some of the great-looking men and women, they’ve never had a problem getting a date, they’ve never had a problem in life, now they get into a world which is a cruel place, and they don’t fight as hard," he explained. So, being physically attractive means you never have to worry about anything? Trump grew up wealthy — does that mean his life has all been candy canes and unicorns? And what on earth does Heidi Klum have to do with anything, anyway? Did she snub Melania at a party or something? Klum has yet to comment on Trump's petty diss. She's probably too busy running her media empire or lounging on a beach with her 29-year-old boyfriend to keep track of Trump's verbal diarrhea. But be careful, Donald — Klum's an American citizen now, which means she can vote. So can her female fans, who, like us, probably don't appreciate a blowhard offering unsolicited comments about a woman's appearance. We won't judge you on your looks, but we will judge you on your opinions. OPENER IMAGE: Everett Collection/REX USA.
