Zendaya Defends Parents Over Hateful Online Comments

Sigh. Sometimes people really are the worst. Zendaya is on the defensive after online trolls have taken to making disparaging comments about her parents' looks. The bullying comes after a Twitter user posted a photo of the young actress posing with her parents, Kazembe and Claire, while cracking a joke about how they looked. Here's the original mean-spirited post. Prepare to feel outraged.

After other commenters piled on the hate, Zendaya decided to speak up with a post of her own. She also shared a family photo, and praised her "beautiful family."
