Typically, Halloween is all about what you've got on your body. And, costume contest winners tend to be the folks who go all out on their clothes. But, those of us who are beauty-obsessed — or just serious procrastinators — are more concerned with what we put on our faces. Halloween is about pushing the makeup envelope, and this year is no different.
If you're anything like us, you look for a costume that's all about the face — but you don't want to rest on the basic (and rather difficult) sugar skull or zombie looks. That's why we decided to get inventive and recruited Sephora Pro Helen Phillips to show us how Halloween makeup is really done.
Helen has helped us come up with six amazing makeup looks that are costumes all on their own — no clothing required. The best part? They can be pulled off with only a handful of products. (Five, to be exact. We counted.)
