Tom Brady has been in the hot seat for the better part of 2015. But one thing that isn't going up in flames? His marriage to supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
The famous couple has endured divorce rumors in the media for months — but on Tuesday, the football star set the record straight definitively.
"We're in a great place," Brady told Boston radio station WEEI, adding that he has "no bigger supporter" than his wife. Good thing, too: It's safe to say he needed her during these troubling times. Deflategate proceedings certainly haven't been easy on the fallen New England Patriots golden boy.
"There were a lot of different emotions that I went through... Those were all at different points in different circumstances. I think they were all — I kind of took them as they come," he told the station of his state of mind during the scandal.
"I faced obviously different adversities in my life, different challenges, and you just kind of rely on those experiences and you rely on a lot of people that are around you for the support. This has been a different type of challenge in my life. I think it's been a different type of obstacle to overcome."
For her part, Gisele has played a sort of Brazilian Tammy Wynette, to the tune of "Stand by Your Man." Over Labor Day Weekend, she posted a photo of Brady playing soccer with their little girl, Vivian Lake. "And my heart melts," she captioned the post, adding the tags #biggestlove and #family. If that's not a loud and clear message that the Brady-Bündchen marriage is doing just fine, we're not sure what is. (E! News)
