Technicolor Hair Like You’ve Never Seen It Before

In honor of Refinery29’s 10th anniversary and New York Fashion Week, we have created the ultimate interactive fashion week experience: 29Rooms. Set in a Brooklyn warehouse, there are — you guessed it — 29 insanely creative and unique rooms to explore. It's an interactive funhouse that caters to all of your senses (and selfies!) with new curiosities around every corner.

Walking into room 13, The Hairousel, feels a little like what we imagine tasting all the colors of the rainbow would be: magical. Here, you'll find carousel horses (decked in colorful locks) perched on poles made of...hair. The artificial 'dos on these ponies give us some serious #FOMO (and hair inspo!), with their trending pastel colors, ombré perfection, intricate braiding, and splashy beach waves.

Here, you can play, brush up on the latest wave-making tress trends, and take a "ride" on the Hairousel (do it for the 'gram, right?). Everyone has their own special relationship with their hair, and this room encourages freedom to experiment with your locks in an empowering way.
