Today is an emotional day for us all, but especially so for those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. Among them is Pete Davidson, a featured player on Saturday Night Live, whose firefighter father was killed on 9/11.
The comedian, who was just seven-years-old when his father died, posted a touching tribute to his dad on Twitter today. Davidson shared childhood photos of him posing with his pops, though his "dick" remark seems a bit lost in translation. Inside joke, perhaps?
Can't believe its been 14 years. I remember seeing ur gigantic dick like it was just yesterday. RIP Dad #NeverForget pic.twitter.com/siQ3rVXN58

"There's not a day that goes by where I don't think of you," Davidson wrote. "You're my hero. Can't wait to see you again some day."
No judgment if you shed a tear or two after that. We certainly did.
