If you spent all of yesterday listening to Ryan Adams' sad, serious Taylor Swift covers, you might need a pick-me-up. Well, Taylor's got one for you.
Swift posted an Instagram video of a dance party she had with Dylan Barnes, a 7-year-old whose "Shake It Off" routine hit the big time. The big time, in this case, being The Ellen Degeneres Show. At the end of Barnes' performance on Friday's show, Degeneres presented him with tickets to Swift's concert. "Hopefully we're going to send you backstage, and you're going to meet Taylor," Degeneres said.
Ellen's decree, obviously, came to fruition. In Swift's video, the barefooted pop star can't stop, won't stop grooving with Barnes. It's refreshing to have this goofy Swift back, a welcome break from the perfectly poised performer who's been welcoming guests to the stage on her 1989 World Tour.
As Swift's song plays, the star does some interpretive dance while Barnes shows off his talent for leaps and handstands. Now, that's something you just can't do to the Ryan Adams version.

Of course, Barnes doesn't get quite as much screen time in Swift's video. To fully appreciate his dancing skills, one should definitely turn to his appearance on Ellen. Watch it below.
